What’s Covered by the Lifetime Limited Hunter Douglas Warranty?
Hunter Douglas limited lifetime warranty covers a wide range of problems your window treatments could face, including:
- Internal mechanisms: Damaged spring roller mechanisms and lift cord mechanisms can prevent your window treatments from operating well.
- Defects in material, workmanship, or failure to operate: The warranty covers the product for the original purchaser. We will take your product apart to find the issue and put it back together in perfect working condition.
- Components and Brackets: These hold your window treatments in place and damaged ones can cause additional damage to your window treatments.
- Fabric Delamination: Constant exposure to high heat can cause delamination in the fabric that we can repair.
- Operational Cords: Coverage applies for 7 years from installation under your warranty. Not only will we replace and restring the broken cords, but we address the underlying issue that caused them to break.
- Hunter Douglas Motorization Components: These are covered for 5 years from installation under your warranty.
But, there are some things that the warranty will not cover, which include:
- Normal wear and tear
- Discoloration and fading from sun exposure
- Damage from wind, rain, and water
- Accidents or misuse
- Damages caused by improper cleaning or improper usage

How Does the Process Work?
When your window treatments need repairs, you can call us to schedule an appointment, or you can drop them off, and we can get to them when we have an opening. We complete most repairs in a few days.
We have fabric, several valance clips, brackets, and rollers in stock that are difficult to source. If we don’t have it in stock, we can order it and begin working on it when the part comes in. We will complete your repairs with the same or similar products or parts.
